Guys, sometimes I'm not ratchet enough for this show. It's been too long since I lived in the hood. I literally had to pause so I could use urbandictionary to remind myself what some slang terms are... like "Becky." Plus, I had to look up how to spell "2 Chainz." Still, I find this comedy to be a riot, despite how "low" it goes to pull it off sometimes. I was looking forward to Max having the billionaire boyfriend, but I'm not really getting the vibe that it's going to last. It was an interesting change for the girls to have an episode completely outside of their shoppe, but the first season seemed to spend so much time in the diner that I've been hoping we'd be in the cupcakery a lot by now. Although I love the chemistry that Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings have on-screen, it would be nice for Han, Oleg, Sophie, and Earl to be in more than one scene. What do you think?
2 Broke Girls "And Just Plane Magic" (S02E16): The diner is moving from glass ketchup bottles to plastic squeezables, but the girls skip out on the chore to go see a band. But, they don't have tickets (and Caroline won't milk a man in a cow costume), so they end up just drinking beer (from Max's purse) in the alley behind the club. [I wonder if she stole the beers from the diner, ha!] However, after Max kicks the back door, the ladies are invited in by a guy who was "with the band." Max spends the night with the guy and has a great time. So great, in fact, that he invites her (and Caroline) to the Grammys via private plane. [I have no idea how it worked out and why he wasn't on the plane himself, but whatever.] After a short argument between Han and Caroline over who is a bigger fan of 2 Chainz, the girls are off... in a plane that formerly belonged to Caroline's family!
It's Max's first flight, so she has questions about most things, but that's really diminished by Caroline and the flight attendant speaking French. [of course.] The only other passenger aboard is 2 Chainz, and the girls take a couple of pictures with him as he sleeps. [who does that??!?] Fortunately, when he wakes up he's cool with the situation.
