How I Met Your Mother (S06Exx): Episode 20 coming up.
[Season Finale May 16th]
The Secret Life of the American Teenager (S03E16): "Mirrors." Ricky goes to talk to the guy who did the custody mediation about his mom living with him (an ex-felon), so he doesn't lose joint custody of John. He's also looking to get someone to tell his mom that she can't live there. Amy goes to Ricky's and meets his mom [who does kinda look like Amy, LoL], who makes a big deal out of their physical similarities. She tries to get Amy to skip school and talk to her. She's reluctant, but stays. George and Anne talk on the phone about Ashley's homeschool program. George wants to stop her. Madison tries to convince Lauren to go to school, who is faking sick because she got dumped last episode. Lauren tries to get Madison to skip school, too. But Madison wants to stay un-grounded, so she calls her dad to ask permission [hahaha!], but he says no [of course!]. Jack goes to Madison's house to talk to her dad about them getting back together. Her dad tells Jack how to manipulate Madison to win her back. Apparently, Grace and Jack take turns driving Tom to work... Jack can't, so he asks Grace to take him. Grace asks Adrian to skip school with her, but Adrian declines. Ben thinks that he and Adrian should live together. [Ben got taller, LoL. I'm pretty sure that Jack used to be a lot taller than him] Amy shows up to school an hour late. Amy starts believing that she does look like Ricky's mother. Madison tells Amy about Lauren, and then tells her that she and Jack broke up. Jack goes to Grace's house in the middle of the day to check on Grace. [what?? how come nobody puts school first on this show??!?] Grace gets upset that Jack has had more sexual opportunities than she has. O'Malley (the counselor) comes to the Juergens house and meets George. She tells George and Ashley how homeschool works, and Ashley is pretty unhappy about it. [her accent is killing me!] Jack wants the whole story from Madison, and she claims that Jack wanted sex and the new guy (who is 20) does not. Ben tries harder to convince Adrian to move in with him, but she still says they're not ready... they need to be married to live together. Now it's after school and Ricky confronts his mom at the butcher shop. Past drinking and drug use comes up, and Ricky tells her that he's skeptical that her life has not been turned around yet. Griffin tries to get Ashley to tell him why she wants to homeschool, but she doesn't say anything. He then gives George an idea to get Ashley to snap out of it: make sure she gets s homeschool study buddy. Then Grant comes to see Grace, and we know it's after-school here, too. Now Grace has no interest in medicine anymore, either? "Sex in high school leads to emotional damage." [yep!] Grant tells Grace that he love her, and she's surprised. [Grace hadn't heard Grant say "I Love you" before??!? And they were planning to have sex??!?] Amy goes to see Lauren. Lauren doesn't want to date anyone in the future because she doesn't want to feel "like this" ever again. Stanley, the boss that Madison is trying to date, turns out not to be 20... he's older. And, since he's creepy, her dad kicks him out, LoL. Also, turns out that Ricky doesn't have any STIs, and he's happy to share that news with his foster parents. Ricky tells them that he calls his birthmother by "Nora" now since his foster parents are his "real" parents. Ricky asks them if Nora can stay there... his dad says no but his mom is hesitant. Ben tells his dad that he wants Adrian to move in with them, and therefore wants to marry her. [Leo is looking extra tan] Leo tries to have Ben wait until the baby is a year old until they get married. Ben insists on immediacy. They battle it out, and we close on Leo thinking it over.

Wednesday:
Mr. Sunshine (S01E09): "Ben and Vivian." Ben hits on a girl at a bar. Turns out that she works as Crystal's assistant. [headband with a ponytail? professionally? bleh. I did like Crystal's black and gold necklaces] Roman needs to have dental work done on Thursday, so Crystal agrees to drive him. But, she immediately makes other plans with a biker for the same time. Ben tries to end it with Vivian, but Vivian claims that they will still be bed buddies. Ben tells Alice about his feelings for Vivian. Vivian ends up needing to drive Roman to the dentist. The mascot is storing some of his stuff in Alonzo's office. [I thought that Alice's yellow button-down vest thing was inappropriate for work] Ben tries to get Vivian to stay the night, but she declines... on her way out she runs into Roman, who convinces her to spend the night and make waffles with him in the morning. Ben gets Roman to get Vivian to spend the day with them... but it doesn't go as well as planned. The biker that Crystal was flirting with has an accident during the show, and he's decided to give up biking. Crystal tries to apologize to Roman, and he confronts her. Ben tries to talk to Vivian about a relationship, but she tells him that she was serious about only being casual. And, now, she wants to get another job, unless Ben will only do sex-with-no-strings-attached. He couldn't, so she left the company. Alice checks on Ben, and brings up that he's maturing if he wanted more than meaningless sex. There's also some sort of ongoing joke about Ben resembling an owl. The mascot actually makes Alonzo angry, and he chases him with a t-shirt gun as the credits roll. [overall, another pretty boring episode]
