Comic-Con Giveaway #1

Get excited! I've fully recovered from my recent trips, so it's time to start some giveaways! I got a TON of swag, plus I've been picking things up here and there (like TV-on-DVD sets on clearance...) that I wanted to share you you, dear readers!

If you follow other blogs and websites that offer giveaways, you might be aware of things like "leave a comment and I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner" or "hunt down the following clues and figure out what magic word I'm looking for" or "like my facebook page for an entry." Well, I think that TheTalkingBox is going to use a combination of those plus other things I've seen and some more I've made up.

The first one starts today and I'll announce the winner in one week - next Sunday. This means you have until 11:59pm (Pacific Time), Saturday, August 13th to enter. The first giveaway is something I picked up on my first day at Comic-Con: a t-shirt for Covert Affairs, the show now in its second season on USA. I know that the mid-season finale is coming up on Tuesday, but it never hurts to be prepared for the upcoming winter episodes!

This white t-shirt is a size L, and the photos show the front with a large design, while the back has a small logo under the neck, plus a line identifying it as a Comic-Con 2011 item.

The rules for this one? Just comment below and share your favorite thing about Covert Affairs. It could be a favorite line, episode, character, actor, outfit, set, location, whatever. I'll use the random-picker to select a number and that comment will win the shirt! I do have "anonymous users" allowed at the moment, but if you choose that method, you should include a way to contact you (like an email address). If this doesn't work out, I'll turn off anonymous posting in the future. I think that pretty much sums it up, but if you have a question, let me know!
