This is the episode where Susan Lucci manages to piss off all four of the girls. Yep, that's all you really need to know about this one. Yes, it's funny. Yes, I find it to be worth watching more than once. Yes, it's even memorable. But there's just not much to it. Disagree?

Hot in Cleveland "Life with Lucci" (S03E10): Susan Lucci shows up in Cleveland, heartbroken about
All My Children being cancelled. She stays at the house, impressing Elka with her grabbing tool, convincing Melanie that she can eat anything and lose weight through a "miracle supplement," and finding a man for Joy. Victoria is upset about the newest rewrites in Emmy's Lifetime script, as she now comes off as an even worse mother, so she's in a pretty bad mood. Of course, she's also suspicious of Lucci's motives. [great banter between the two former soap stars referencing one another's character storylines.] Well, things go south when the "doctor" Susan set up with Joy turns out to be a male prostitute. Melanie, desperate to look good in a bikini on short notice, discovers that she's losing weight because of a tapeworm. [great "one wrong ___" swimsuit discussion.] Elka promotes the tool to a basketball player who ends up being traded, so she, too, has suffered from Lucci's alternative motives. When the ladies confront Susan, she realizes that she's her own "evil twin" and leaves. Except, Victoria and Susan then share a moment which makes Victoria think that maybe they can be friends after all... right up until Susan manages to steal the part right out from under Victoria. [can we all agree to thoroughly loathe Susan Lucci now?]
