This show is turning into absolute rubbish! These episodes are recycled storylines thrown together with no theme! In one hour (forty-four minutes, really), we see a hot second of the family at a fundraiser in Missouri, a lot of time staring at them get their photos taken, two families visit the compound, the kids run around and play, Josh do a little work, Anna bake some cookies, and James practicing his trumpet. They're not acknowledging that we've already covered some of these stories, or that it's Christmas time (if the decorations aren't enough for you, the return of Jennifer & Jonathan should be!). Should this show wind up renewed, I'm going to have to give it some thought before I commit to continuing recaps... especially if the episodes are going to continue to be rehashes themselves!
19 Kids and Counting "Smile and Say, Duggars!" (S06E15): [Josie singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" was different. I don't like how much they ignore Jordyn, though.] The family was invited to a fundraiser in Joplin, MO for the victims of the tornado, which the four oldest children had helped a year earlier. [interesting that they showed us the "filming in progress" sign. the big event being eating in the same room as the family? not interesting.]
Next, it's time for the annual family picture, this time in jeans and blue shirts. They head to a shoot 30 miles away, and do the big group first before people stop paying attention. [200 frames for one good picture? and why go all that way just to shoot in front of a dilapidated house?] They do the individual shoots the next day at the Duggar home, where the standout moment is Josie being unable to pay attention. [the girl is two years old, guys!]
Then, a family of three visits the Duggars, and Jill was able to practice her Spanish a little bit, even hearing a hymn in Spanish. [did you get an introduction as to who this family is? I think AT&T U-Verse cut it off with an HBO commercial...] While they're visiting, the boys catch an opossum which JimBob tells them to release. [did they show this for the novelty factor?] We see the kids rig up a kite to an RTV to make it fly. [innovative, I guess. But if it was Joy's idea, why doesn't she get to ride??] They try to attach a camera to it, but it keeps nose-diving. [those boys are really into filming!]
19 Kids and Counting "Duggars Dinner Party" (S06E16): The Popes, a family who had a child in the NICU alongside Josie, are coming for dinner. [why bother showing the miscommunication? not only does it reflect poorly on Michelle, but it's only three guests, so the family hardly went out of their way to make extra!] Michelle gives Sarah Pope (the one in yellow, below) a lesson in making tater tot casserole, and they look at one another's baby books. [was it just me or did it seem like JimBob couldn't remember Josie's birthday?]

Over at Josh's, we see Mackenzie work on her Bible verses, then Josh talk about having to move everything from the "taco lot" to the "second lot" again. [I thought they moved back already...? Also, Jennifer and Jonathan are visiting again. apparently, during school breaks, the siblings go there instead of going to Indonesia.] Several of the Duggars (JimBob, Joseph, Joy, Josiah, Jedidiah, and Jeremiah, plus Jonathan) help Josh move. [where are all of the older, helpful kids? and why does Josh called Jeremiah "Jeer" ?] They move 25 cars out of the 100 they have in-stock. And, Anna bakes cookies for the group. [woopty-doo.]

I don't like how much they ignore Jordyn, though.
That is not just a casual thought. That is a BIG issue, in my opinion.
My opinion is based on what I see on the highly acclaimed television shows. It is not a matter of editing because the basic treatment of Jordyn is very cold, untouching, indifferent, emotionless, dumb, retreating, neglectful, lacking, somber, flat effect, disinterested, disaffectionate, with minimal helps at best, estranged, etc.; while, the same parents in the same shows are seen to be hands on, engaged, excited, interested, happy, verbal, kissing, hugging, laughing, joking, extremely emotional, doting, holding, caring, aggressive, advancing toward, very helpful, affectionate, talkative, etc toward the precious addition JOSIE. These people claim to be Christians and the Christian message says if you show partiality you sin. What kind of parents would do this to little girls? Josie is doing well but Jordyn is obviously showing effects from the mistreatment she has gone through. Her personality is not being developed and she is not treated as as beloveded a child as Josie is. It angers me to sit and watch this going on.
