Not much to Schmidt & Harper this week...

by Amy K. Bredemeyer

I just can't come up with much to say about this week's episode. It had some good moments but was generally pretty boring. I mean, just take a look at what went on...

Two and a Half Men "Big Girls Don't Throw Food" (S09E03): Alan wants to move back into his old room, but Berta's in there so he gets Jake's old room. [the opening song with Ashton makes him look creepy as h3ll!] Walden is working on some "neurometrics" when Judith drops off Jake. When Alan breaks the news to Jake that they'll have to share a room, Jake is pissed. [well, yeah. who wants to share a room with a parent? especially a teenager!] Alan tried to bluff Jake, but Jake calls him on it. [and, if I hadn't seen it coming, perhaps it would have been the crowning moment of the episode...] Jake later decides that maybe he's super-smart and that's why he doesn't do well in school, since that was part of Walden's problem (though in his case he dropped out of MIT, not high school). [I am SO OVER the "you had this problem, maybe I have it, too" -type storylines on shows!] Walden asks Jake what a good restaurant would be, and he suggests Soup Plantation, which is an all-you-can-eat soup, salad, and pasta place. Bridget isn't happy [it's cafeteria-style, for crying out loud!], and Walden just keep claiming that he can change. Then, he gets into a food fight with a seven-year-old. [and this almost made me turn off the episode...] Judith confronts Walden about how he is a role model for Jake, and Walden just turns her horny so she goes home to Herb....

...what do you think? Anything of substance there?
