Last Man Standing: Mandy & Kyle??

"Can we please not throw guns in the house?" This might be the funniest thing that Vanessa has said in a while. The whole "gopher in the backyard" gave Mike and Eve something to do that didn't interfere with the main plot of the episode but was still a funny throughline. (and, that's all it was, too. Eve puts a $900 scope on a cheap pellet gun, goes up to the roof, and waits for the gopher to appear.) Meanwhile, I think I am finally used to Amanda Fuller playing Kristin instead of Alexandra Krosney, though I still think the character's storyline has gone to pieces. Speaking of which, how crazy do the writers think the audience is to believe that shallow Mandy would go for naive, good-guy Kyle, especially after he's already dated her older sister? Don't get me wrong, I like Kyle as a character and all... but I just shake my head at the idea of he and Mandy together. Do you think they stand a chance as a couple?
ABC/CARIN BAER
Last Man Standing "Quarterback Boyfriend" (S02E12): Mandy is crushing on the star quarterback at school, Greg Archer, and Mike encourages the girls to date boys who will care for them. [really? Kyle is the Grand Marshal? I would have guessed Ryan!] Vanessa disagrees, as they raised the girls to be self-sufficient. Regardless, Mike hires Greg at the store, but the jock doesn't really want to do actual work, continuously pawning it off on Kyle. Mandy comes to the store and has Kyle stress that she's off-limits as the boss's daughter to get Greg interested. It works and he asks her to bring Chinese take-out and they'll have a picnic.

But, because of Greg's poor work ethic and dishonorable character, Mike fires him. [I think he hired him too readily, actually.] Mike wants to stop Mandy from dating him but Vanessa thinks they should let Mandy figure out her own mistakes. [I thought that was a conservative outfit for Mandy.] Mandy borrows $20 from Mike to buy dinner, but when she gets to the store, only Kyle is there, as Greg never updated the plan. Mandy decides to have dinner with Kyle, who tells her that she's too good for Greg anyway. [has Kyle SERIOUSLY never used chopsticks before?? I mean, I was like 16 before I even tried, but Kyle's in his 20s!]

I agree, same here just getting used to the new Kristin, i liked more Krosney than fuller for her sister qualities but think Fuller better suits the independent transition as a mom figure that Kristen has taken since the end of season 2 into season 3. Yet, I actually think that Kyle and Mandy are better than Kristin and Kyle because Kyle is a loving guy; now Kristin has shown to be very bitchy at times and hard headed, while Mandy despite being very "popular" is kind spirited and has shown to be a really good person. Both Mandy and Kyle are very sweet and naive which makes them perfect for each other. I think Kyle makes Mandy be more realistic and leave the social world more easily into ordinary life. Take not I'm just one season 3 atm....

Remember season 1, Mike was actually trying to set Kyle up with Mandy but he mistook Kristin for Mandy and Mike didn't say anything because Kristin was so happy
